Here is how I built myself a cedar chest to store all my clothes and shoes so they won't mildew during the humid summers up here in the appalachian mountains. :) I learned that you can't use nails in thin cedar, and both nails and screws will split the wood close to the edges. Pre-drilling the holes, then putting in screws keeps the boards together. xoxo
